Wing - new dimension of fun on the water

Wing, foil wing, surf wing, sup wing, kite wing, skate wing and all other derivatives have one thing in common. It is a wing that we hold in our hands and use only the board. The board can be surf / sup shape or kite shape. All this can be further spiced up with foil, which brightens up the whole experience! Even if we are away from the water, we only need an asphalt surface, some wind, a skateboard and we are already driving.

The F-One made a small revolution on the wing market with its Swing model, as it is considered to be one of the first inflatable models to come to the market. It is extremely popular especially in the USA.

Unlike other manufacturers, the F-One bets on simplicity. The main goals in designing the Swing were lightness and ease of use. Swing does not have a transparent window and other "high-tech" accessories that add a lot to the weight of the wing itself. At the expense of its simplicity, the Swing is currently the lightest wing available on the market. The innovative valve F-One takes care of inflating and deflating air from the wing, which with a double lock of the pump on the wing enables super-fast inflating and deflating air from the wing itself at the push of a button.

The swing is the only wing on the market that has a harness lines and allows you to attach to the wing with a harness, thus extending the time in the water due to the relax the arms. The F-One has also optimized the number of handles and their positions. There is only one handle for the front arm and two for the back. The handles are arranged to allow the most optimal centre of gravity and ride in all conditions, while significantly affecting the overall weight.

The mail tube has a medium-wide diameter, and the boom connecting the front and rear end of the wing is longer. The longer boom allows Swing to have a deeper profile. At the expense of a deeper profile, you get a greater range of utilization of the wing surface itself while driving and you adapt most optimally to the current situation. At the same time, due to the deeper profile of the wing, it also "floats" better in the air while flying over water. The latter allows you to pay less attention to the wing itself and more to the ride.

For protection, the Swing also has its own leash, which you attach to your wrist with velcro strap. The eternal problem with the leash itself is that it needs to be attached to the wrist with both hands, while the wind can blow away your wing easily – this can be a big problem especially if it happens in the water, away from the shore, while exchanging wings with a colleague. The swing also has an additional protection system (strap), with which you can easily secure the wing with one hand so that it does not get blow away, then take your time and fasten the leash with both hands.

The low weight of the wing itself plays a very important role in the handling of the wing on the beach, at the water start and, most importantly, when we place the wing in the position for driving over water. Wingsurfing is a sport in which little things make a big difference: one of these “little things” that plays a very important role in ease of handling is low weight.

Overall, we can say that the F-One made a great product with its wing, focusing on low weight and optimizing details that make it easy to drive for users with different levels of knowledge. Beginners will quickly learn to operate the Swing due to its lightness and excellent centre of gravity, while demanding users will enjoy the waves and downwind ride.
