We welcome Steven van Broeckhoven!
Steven van Broeckhoven is a Belgian windsurfer who specializes in freestyle. He is a multiple freestyle champion - in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2016 he was a European champion and in 2011 a world champion. His favourite spot is Sotovento on Fuerteventura. He rides Gunsails and Starboard. For those of you who follow the windsurfing scene in a little bit more into the details, you certainly don't need further introduction...
Because with this year, Steven is driving Recharge masts. We've known Steven for a long time and after a few discussions last year he decided to try Recharge masts. He tested them in all possible conditions throughout 2021 and decided to start 2022 season with them. For Recharge, this is a nice recognition and motivation for the future, as it is a confirmation that our products are of high quality and comparable to other best masts' manufacturers in the world of windsurfing. At the same time, it is an additional obligation for us to continue developing an equipment where quality and durability are paramount and it is intended for both recreational windsurfers and professionals. Of course, the price is also another important aspect where we want to offer top equipment to be more accessible to every windsurfer and not just those individuals with very deep pockets.
